When I was ready to offer my Napa home for sale, I interviewed the two top-performing agents in town. I selected Florence Ropelewski (L’Agence, Napa Valley) to represent me/my home. Florence impressed me with her kindness, professionalism, diligence in preparation, and knowledge of the local market. Beyond all else, her research-backed confidence assured me that my home would achieve the price we set.
Even though I was out of town while my home was on the market, Florence always kept me promptly and professionally updated about inspections, new developments, interested buyers, and offers. At each juncture, she presented options, and explained them with clarity, citing both sides of the issues, as well as providing seasoned guidance and support. I felt comfortable in discussing any concerns with Florence as she always considered my input and supported our mutual decisions. I did not feel pressured to agree with a viewpoint that I did not fully understand, nor favor.

Her market acumen, her meticulousness, and her integrity, led to the successful closure of my home’s sale. In selling a home, when it comes to choosing a realtor, many factors come into consideration, including knowledge of the local market, dedication to the sale, availability, and willingness to get to know the client and their goals. Florence excelled in all of these areas, but particularly in the latter two, which were the most important to us. She was personally available 24/7 for any questions that came up, to review prior conversations, and often times just for reassurance and to hold our hand. When the local market took a downturn with a marked decrease in home sales accompanied by a high inventory, she was able to switch gears effortlessly and come up with several different plans to get our house sold. She spent a lot of time getting to know us and discerning our priorities. Ultimately, when we did get an offer, she guided us through some difficult financial decisions, reminding us throughout of our ultimate goal. Without her guidance and expertise , we suspect our home would still be on the market. We cannot recommend her more highly.
